OMFG did the heat smack me down yesterday
so early on we got ready and took Zyn and Kierstal home and on the way at pre noon we were already above 90
even with the windows down on the ride it was to hot for me to think. so i passed out off and on til we got there and dropped them off in cambridge. we stopped at mcdonalds on the way back and I got a huge iced tea and then on the way out got it filled with ice for the little water i had outside waiting for me. 5 miles later there was no ice left. the heat was more unbearable due to my stint in cooler regions and due to the fact it had been wearing me down all day. we hit a few patches of rain on the way home that would somewhat revive me only to hit another long stretch that was hotter than the suburbs of tartarus and so it went til we got back and a rain storm greeted me. i got out of the car and hurried into the house for aas much as i love rain my mp3 player and atlas of maps are not so appreciative. once inside it was hot and humid again until i got to the bedroom where the slightly cooler air from the rain was being sucked in by a fan. i laid down to take a nap last night around 6pm and just got up today at 10am. i beleive this spells yet another win for the heat......
